01Scope
Termvoy is operated by Thinktive Technology Co., Ltd. This policy describes data handling in the Termvoy macOS app and this static website. Features vary by platform and version; the processing below occurs when the relevant feature is used.
02Local configurations and credentials
Host addresses, usernames, groups, tags and trusted host public keys are stored in the app’s local data directory. Saved passwords, key passphrases and imported or generated private keys are stored in the system Keychain. Manually selected key files remain at their original location. Unsaved passwords are held in memory for the current run.
03Connections, files and session records
The app sends required authentication information to the servers or jump hosts you specify. File operations act on the devices and servers you select. Persistent session logs and recordings retain terminal output, which may contain sensitive information. Transfer queues and resume information are stored locally without authentication credentials.
04Optional encrypted iCloud sync
When sync is enabled, selected connection configurations (including associated passwords, Keychain items and port forwarding), scripts and completed session logs are encrypted on device before being saved to your private iCloud database. Sync uses AES-GCM, with encryption keys synced through iCloud Keychain. Disabling sync or deselecting a category does not automatically delete previously uploaded data. Apple services are also subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
05Feedback you submit
When you submit feedback, the feedback service receives your message, optional email, selected screenshots, app version, OS version, device architecture, runtime environment and language to investigate and respond. It does not automatically read your hosts, passwords, private keys or terminal contents. Review attachments and text for sensitive information. Feedback access credentials are kept in the local Keychain and excluded from app cloud sync.
06Purchases and third-party services
The App Store processes payments; the app uses Apple-verified purchase information to determine Pro access and does not receive payment card details. iCloud sync uses Apple CloudKit; feedback is sent to echo.thinktive.net. Servers you connect to are selected by you and may process connection and authentication records under their own policies.
07Retention, deletion and control
Local configurations, logs and transfer records remain until deleted through the relevant controls or by clearing app data. Removing the macOS app alone may leave its data directory and Keychain items intact. Connection diagnostics retain the latest 500 entries only during the current run. You can disable sync, change sync categories, manage local logs and request access to or deletion of submitted feedback through in-app feedback. Cloud data must be managed separately and is not automatically erased by uninstalling.
08Website and local preferences
This static website contains no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or submission forms. It stores only your appearance preference locally in your browser; language is determined by page links. The hosting service may process IP addresses and access logs; retention depends on the production hosting environment.
